It's nice that Nimia makes videos able to purchase straight from my website, but I'd be fine if I could embed photos with a link to the Micro site (without just creating a gallery on my Squarespace site and manually adding links for each photo).
It seems like adding sales cart for multiple items like photos on Squarespace is more effort than it's worth. Dreamstime has an easy way to embed photos on sites; I use this for my blog. It hasn't increased DT sales though...

Sorry to hijack the thread, but just thought I'd offer you my new free debt paying service. Just send me your bank account and credit card details and a copy of your signature and I'll take care of all those annoying bills you have to waste time paying every month.
Why?
For the reward of knowing I'm saving other people time.

I noticed yesterday that Uberstock's site now redirects to Funnelbox (The owner's other business, a video production company). And there is no mention of Uberstock or stock footage on Funnelbox.
Has the author of The Stock Footage Millionaire given up on making millions? I can't tell if Uberstock is still uploading to the usual stock sites.

I also stopped uploading video there. I don't think I had one sale from a few hundred videos. And since their CSV uploader never works for me, I couldn't be bothered to spend the time adding the metadata manually there.

Only if you film a shoot for RM/RR - Rights Managed or Rights Ready. Not RF. I think these also need to be exclusive so u can't upload the RM to Other agencies.
Does that only apply to being a direct contributor? I found my videos from IS ported to Getty, which are all RF at multiple sites.

They should. I've used the Mandarin IS MRs there. But any information filled in must be translated into English too otherwise they reject it.

I don't think Tier 3 is practical for "average" footage. I'd probably only use that for extremely niche footage where buyers had few other choices.

Which tier do you usually use for video pricing at 123RF? The differences between them seem too wide to get a good price. Tier 1 is HD: $65, 4K: $130, which seems reasonable for HD but too cheap for 4K. But Tier 2 is HD: $90, 4K: $330, which is a decent price for HD but the 4K version of that is much higher than other places. The tiers are missing a reasonable middle ground.

I set my 4k video price for about 60-85$ because I don't want to undercut my price with other agencies such as ss, fotolia, anf 123rf.
But you ARE undercutting your price with the other agencies. $60 to $85 is a good price for HD. 4K is selling for $130 to $199 on the other 3 agencies you mentioned.

I got most of my last uploads accepted, but the notice with some of the rejections was interesting. "At this point, the clips with this topic that have a greater chance of acceptance on the site are both unusual and high-quality. The best way to tell whether or not your clip has a good chance of getting rejected would be to do a search on our site for what you're thinking of creating before you put in the time to make it, and see how many results come up. If it's something that has 100+ very similar results, then chances are we're not currently looking for more unless they're something we haven't seen before or something that will make us say "wow"."
On one hand I can see how more than 100 clips of a subject wouldn't be of much use to them. But most topics do need to be updated to stay fresh and up to date. Also this means that they wouldn't be accepting anything that isn't a niche.

The problem in my case was I was uploading another file type to the other agencies, so when I used the SS or P5 CSV file it wasn't linking the files due to the Filenames column having a different extension.
They are usually pretty quick to reply.

It probably depends on the reviewer. I had one image rejected for over sharpening in SS and resubmitted with a trenchant comment in the title. It was accepted second time. Other times. I have asked there if something is considered editorial to classify it as such rather than commercial as there is so much variety between agencies. This has always been ignored and SS rejects even if there is an editorial caption and I have forgotten to tick the editorial box, giving a rejection message of please resubmit.
On the other hand, with an image submitted to DT the other day as editorial they sent an email saying they thought it would sell better as Commercial and had reclassified it. I thought that was very nice of them.
Thanks. I thought SS might not bother with comments. I've done this with DT before and it worked.

Is the only way to close Yay and Veer accounts to e-mail and ask them to close them?

It's possible to add a message to IS in the title field, so I'm wondering if anybody has tried that with SS and gotten the required result.
More specifically, I'd like to ask them if a queued file is suitable for Commercial use, to rather change it from Editorial to Commercial. (I submitted the video as editorial thinking the faces were not indistinct enough, but I accidentally submitted it to other agencies who do not take editorial photos/videos and they accepted it, which made me think I'd like to change it if possible)

The SJcam 3000 is cheap and does timelapse. The quality is mediocre, but I've had the only two timelapses I did with it accepted at all agencies.

I e-mailed the guys at ME about their downsizing function for 4K videos. And it seems as though buyers can use their conversion to tool for any size or format but the pricing remains the same (If I understand correctly).
This seems like it could hurt potential sales for people who may want HD or lower rez files but don't want to pay 4K rates for them. What do you do with files at ME? Submit both 4K and HD versions?

I'm glad you guys mentioned that. I missed the whole 4K pricing. I should be getting a 4K camera soon, so now I know to upload HD only to Nimia.
Are there any other agencies that are doing this stupid HD/4K pricing?

I had a series rejected with the "Not suitable for commercial use" reason there a few months ago. Same series is now my third best selling series on SS with almost daily sales.
I wish they had a reply button to send back a message like "How would you know what is suitable for commercial use?"

So if they ignore e-mails and there is no automated delete function, how does one delete their account or photos on Yay?

I'm surprised nobody has said anything about Nimia's new pricing model. I won't say anything about their exclusive and direct selling tiers as I don't use them. But their Multi-agency (non-exclusive) videos used to sell for $150 and up. Now they have all been reduced to around $79 (same commission % AFAIK).
"The Basic (low tier) collection will replace the Multi Agency Collection and it will be defined by "traditional looking" stock footage at a low tier price point. The Basic collection prices will average $79/clip. Basic collection includes both exclusive and non exclusive content. Contributors can opt in selected footage to exclusivity to receive a higher royalty rate."
Now I will be getting 0% of $79 rather than 0% of $150.

I'm having my third best month ever on SS and I haven't sold a single seasonal photo. I hope this continues.

Thanks. everything seems sorted now.
I sent them a message yesterday lunch time and had a few e-mail exchanges to answer queries their engineers had and they had the problem fixed by 5 pm. Excellent contributor support.

I uploaded videos to ME over the weekend and the uploader took all 40 files and renamed them with the same name as the first file in the upload. This made applying my CSV file impossible. I deleted all the files and tried again in smaller sets a few times. Now, each time it only uploads half the files and still renames them with the name of the first file.
Has anybody else uploaded over the last week? Did you have any problems? Everything worked fine on my last upload about 2 weeks ago.
